Monday night was a big night in Entertainment.
The CBS broadcast, Steve Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life – recorded the day before the 2015 Grammys – featured performances from big name acts such as Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and Pharrell.
But it was Beyoncé’s 9 minutes-long medley of Wonder covers that brought the audience to its feet. Queen Bey started the show with a rendition of 1963’s “Fingertips.” Afterwards, she brought Ed Sheeran onstage for the reggae-heavy “Master Blaster (Jammin’)” before Gary Clark, Jr. joined them for the horn-filled “Higher Ground” featuring a characteristically stellar guitar solo from Clark.
